Lazio disappointed at home: defeat against Udinese jeopardises European hopes

Lazio were defeated at home by Udinese and lost their European aspirations. The goals came within four minutes, with Lucca and Zarraga for Udinese and Giannetti's own goal for Lazio.
Maurizio Sarri's team is now seven points behind the European places and the time to make up ground is running out.
Lazio lost their European qualification hopes after being beaten 2-1 at home by Udinese, who were down to 10 men, in Cheap Serie A football shirts.

Udinese came into the match with just one win in their last nine games, an away victory against Juventus, who inflicted a series of consecutive defeats on the Old Lady.
Lorenzo Lucca and Oier Zarraga put the visitors ahead twice in four minutes at the start of the second half, while the Cheap Lazio Jerseys managed to find the target only thanks to Lautaro Gianetti's own goal to level the score.

Lazio started brightly and had a few chances to take the lead in the first half, coming close to scoring within four minutes when Mattia Zaccagni hit the post with a shot from distance.
Luis Alberto threatened the hosts a few minutes later but failed to test Maduka Okoye with a low shot that went past the Nigerian's right-hand post.

Ciro Immobile had a great chance when he was teased by Felipe Anderson in the box, but the captain turned off his first-time shot.
Nearly 30 minutes from the end of the first half, Anderson put a perfect cross into the path of Zaccagni, who from five yards out failed to turn the ball into the back of the net.
Udinese managed to weather the storm and had a chance when Sandi Lovric's volley was blocked by Ivan Provedel.
The Lazio goalkeeper was immediately forced into another save to fend off Hassane Kamara's close-range volley with his feet at the near post, before repelling an attempt from a corner.
After a very even finish to the first half for Udinese, Lucca broke the deadlock when he repelled Kamara's attempted shot on goal.

Cheap Lazio Jerseys Giannetti's own goal soon levelled the scores, but Udinese took the lead just as quickly with an excellent finish from Zarraga on the edge of the area, who slotted the ball into the bottom right-hand corner.
Nehuen Perez was sent off for the second time, but Udinese managed to win the three points they needed to move away from the relegation zone.
Lazio's defeat increased the gap to Atalanta, who now have a seven-point lead in the race for UEFA Europa League qualification.
